Every tourist
already knows that there are certain documents required before
entering any country. Whether you’re arriving by train, bus or
through
the airport, certain documents have to be presented before
you are allowed to enter the country for an adult vacation in Prague.
While the documents
required could be a bit challenging to acquire in
some situations, they are worth it as they offer security and peace
of mind.
Take note that
there are no universal requirements for entering the Czech Republic.
Like other countries, the required documents for
entry differs, and
it is also dependent on your country of origin.
Visa
Requirements
There are
countries that have a Visa Waiver agreement with the Czech Republic.
Check with your local booking company to determine if you need to
have
a visa before entering the country. Residents from the EU and
North America have this agreement but the length of stay differs.
Many citizens from EU
countries can stay in the Czech Republic
without any restrictions while those with a Visa Waiver agreement may
only be allowed to stay in the country
for 30 days. In case you want
to stay longer, you should talk to the border police before the
deadline.
Passports
While a Visa can
be waived, passports will always be required for any tourist visiting
the Czech Republic. The country requires that your passport will
not
expire at least 90 days from your original length of stay. This is
added as an allowance in case you want to stay longer. The 90-day
rule is strictly
observed for those who are entering the country with
a visa requirement.
“Schengen
Visa”
Since December
2007, the Czech Republic became part of Schengen, which allows access
for citizens from countries that are part of the group. Citizens
from
Spain, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Denmark and other European countries
are part of Schengen (UK and Ireland not included). This agreement
has
really helped tourists from these countries although there is
already a Visa waiver agreement. This has provided easy entrance for
citizens who want
to visit different countries for their vacations.
If you’re planning to visit different countries to check out their
erotic services (with Czech escorts),
coming from a country in the
Schengen zone will definitely help.
Other Required
Documents
There are
situations where additional requirements will be needed. For example,
round trip tickets, proof of accommodation in one of the hotels in
the country and additional IDs could be asked before access to the
country is granted. This is often asked for those who want to stay in
the
country within a specific time period. Last, but not least,
always bring these documents everywhere you go. Local police might
ask you
questions and it is important to have these documents handy.
